Max Hall Named Cardinals' Starter

Max Hall will get the start for the Cardinals on Sunday against New Orleans, replacing veteran Derek Anderson, who lasted just four games as Arizona's No. 1 QB.

The rookie Hall replaced Anderson in the Cardinals' embarrassing 41-10 loss in San Diego and threw for 82 yards on 8 of 14 passing.

Hall was undrafted out of BYU last April, but has quickly climbed the ever-fluctuating Arizona depth chart -- he beat out fellow rookie John Skelton for a spot on Arizona's active roster, then moved up to the Cardinals' backup spot when Matt Leinart was released.
