The Jaguars will play host to the Colts Sunday, and while some observers see the game as a mismatch history says otherwise. The Colts, the defending AFC South and AFC Champions, have won two consecutive games after a season-opening loss at Houston, beating the New York Giants, 38-14, and the Denver Broncos, 27-13. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, the NFL's Most Valuable Player the last two seasons, has started as well as he ever has in 13 NFL seasons, and while the Colts' defense has allowed big yards in two of three games, Indianapolis hasn't been seriously challenged the last two games.
The Jaguars, meanwhile, are struggling after a positive start. They beat Denver, 24-17, in the season opener, a game that spawned optimism from their fans base, but they have sustained back-to-back one-sided losses the last two weeks -- 38-13 at San Diego and 28-3 to Philadelphia in Jacksonville.
