Tony Brown's season is over.Brown, a defensive tackle who has started in 11 of 13 games for the Tennessee Titans this season despite knee injuries, was placed on injured reserve Wednesday,a day after his agent told the Tennessean Brown might need surgery after the season.
Center Kevin Matthews, the son of former Titans lineman Bruce Matthews, was activated from the practice squad.
The team placed center Eugene Amano on injured reserve Tuesday.
