A week after the Colts won in Denver with the help of multiple free-agent rookies and backups, it's likely two key starters -- offensive tackle Charlie Johnson and linebacker Clint Session -- will be ready to start against Jacksonville Sunday.
Johnson and Session each said following a Friday practice they will play, Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reported.
Johnson, the Colts' starting left tackle since 2009, missed last week's game with a sprained right foot sustained during the preseason. Session has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.
Johnson practiced Wednesday and Thursday before missing Friday.
Chappell also reported that running back Donald Brown and wide receiver Pierre Garcon appear unlikely to play. Neither player practiced this past week.
Guard Jamey Richard remains questionable for Jacksonville after being limited Thursday and not practicing with a shoulder issue. Running back Joseph Addai (knee) is listed as questionable, but practiced twice this week and wide receiver Austin Collie is listed as questionable with a heel injury but returned to practice Friday.
The Colts got solid performances from rookie free-agent wide receiver Blair White, rookie free-agent offensive tackle Jeff Linkenbach and first-year veteran Cody Glenn last week. With Johnson and Session returning, Glenn and Linkenback likely will return to backup roles.
